All of the forms, including the pillars, beams and roof deck will be filled in one pour. The contractor estimates it will take almost three trucks of concrete to fill the entire form. (In the end it took the crew 14 hours to fill the forms.) The concrete will be pumped up to the roof. That giant ladder going up the front of the house is designed to support the hose filled with concrete. Afterwards the concrete will sit undisturbed for four weeks to cure and harden.
The bottom two photos show the reinforcing steel that gets buried in the concrete. The workmanship for the steel is excellent. You can also see the form work for the pop-up, "cathedral bathroom"
